I’m the screenwriter behind the groundbreaking romantic comedy Wedding Season, which debuted on Netflix in August 2022 as one of their top 5 films worldwide.

Named one of Variety’s 10 Screenwriters to Watch, I’ve sold a wide range of projects to major production companies and studios over the years—including Paramount, Disney, and Netflix—across genres like YA, comedy, animation, fantasy, and family dramedy (although rom-coms will always be my first love).

I write screenplays examining relationships, family dynamics, and immigrant experiences through the lens of comedy, drawing on my experience as a journalist and my family roots in the fine state of New Jersey. I have bachelor’s degrees in English and Journalism from New York University and a master’s degree in South Asian Studies from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington.
