I write screenplays examining relationships, family dynamics, and immigrant experiences through the lens of comedy, drawing on my experience as a journalist and my family roots in the fine state of New Jersey.
I have bachelor’s degrees in English and Journalism from New York University and a master’s degree in South Asian Studies from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington.
My original film Wedding Season debuted on Netflix this August as one of their top 5 films worldwide.
I’ve also sold several projects for both TV and film to major production companies and studios across a variety of genres, including comedy, animation, and fantasy. The animated feature Diya that I co-wrote for ReelFX is currently in development.
