I write screenplays examining relationships, family dynamics, and immigrant experiences through the lens of comedy, drawing on my experience as a journalist and my family roots in the fine state of New Jersey.

I have bachelor’s degrees in English and Journalism from New York University and a master’s degree in South Asian Studies from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington.

I’ve sold projects for both TV and film to major production companies and studios across a variety genres—including comedy, animation, and drama. My original film Wedding Season is releasing on Netflix this August, and the animated feature Diya that I co-wrote for ReelFX is currently in development.
