Online Copywriting: Headlines

At MSN, writing good headlines posed an interesting challenge — they had to be catchy enough to grab our audience’s attention, but clear enough to make our articles search-friendly. I also worked with editors across MSN to write headlines for strategic promotions.  These were short versions of our article or video headlines that ran in prominent areas of MSN with the goal of drawing readers deeper into our site.
